Ed Satell Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award

The Philadelphia-Israel Chamber of Commerce (PICC), the region’s pre-eminent Israel business group, will honor Ed Satell, Founder and CEO of Progressive Business Publications, with its prestigious 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award.  The Chamber presents this award to regional business, philanthropic and academic leaders who exemplify the organization’s goals of broadening business, research and educational ties between the United States and Israel.

Matthew I. Fingerman, ChFC®, CFP®, PICC President and Vice President, Wealth Manager, BNY Mellon, said: “His lifelong extensive humanitarian initiatives facilitating, and funding advanced Israeli research have generated positive global impact and have deepened and broadened the academic, commercial and friendship ties between Israel and the United States.”

For the past five decades, Mr. Satell has promoted his strong values and focus on the greater good, advocating for a culture of corporate accountability and social responsibility, and developing human capital at all levels.  He has been honored by Gratz College (USA) and the Technion Institute (Israel) with Honorary Doctorate degrees.

Ed will accept the 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award at the Chamber’s Annual Gala Reception at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia on May 4th.
