21st Year of Celebration—PBP’s Annual Chinese New Year Luncheon

A long-awaited event for the company is the annual Chinese New Year luncheon at well-known landmark restaurant Margaret Kuo’s Mandarin.  On February 19th, PBPers gathered for this happy tradition, perennially organized by Emma, a PBPer for more than 30 years!  In addition to a delicious and expansive buffet lunch, including traditional New Year’s dishes, Kuo family specialties and an array of sushi, attendees enjoyed learning about the Year of the Pig, a prize raffle, and a salute to Emma honoring her long involvement.  Emma told her colleagues that the Pig is one of the luckiest zodiac signs in terms of finances, and those born in the year of the pig (1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019) are extremely intelligent, social, and have an attractive personality.  Their lucky numbers are 2,5,6 and 8, and their element is water.

All eagerly look forward to next year’s luncheon, celebrating the Year of the Rat.
